Where do you live (City, State, or Country)?
Nashville, TN.

Your script stood out among hundreds of others. What was the inspiration for your story and why did you write a script instead of a short story or a novel?
I've been writing songs and skits about Cox County for a while. Danny Joe and Sue Ellen--from two different feuding families--have always been at the center. They needed an origin story, so I came up with "Yonder Window "

How long did it take you to write your script...and what is your writing process? Do you outline...use index cards...white board...or just start with FADE IN?
This took months. I use various books, software, and some systems of my own.

What is your ultimate ambition as a writer?
Get the Ramblers into production. Have a hit series!

Was your entry at The Wiki Screenplay Contest a full script or “the first ten pages”? Why did you make that choice?
The whole script. I think of the story as a whole, so that's how I wanted to present it.

What’s your all-time favorite movie or television show...and why?
Columbo. The hero and the villain do their utmost to win.

What advice do you have for writers hoping to win a contest or place as a finalist as you have?
Read lots of books about screenwriting. They won't conflict; they will help you generate ideas.

What else are you working on that the world needs to know about?
Donald's Block Party (Low-Budget Feature - Dramedy,  Music)
A young inner-city librarian, to protect a library from a bank's takeover, puts on a fund-raiser. He gets in over his head when he hires the city's most notorious rapper to headline.

In the Congo (Feature - Historical Action-Drama)
In the Belgian Congo, two British teachers discover slavery and genocide; they photograph the atrocities then team up with an African warlord, who helps them smuggle the pictures past the Belgian authorities and out of the country.
