The Wiki Screenplay Contest judging panel includes entertainment industry professionals; any outside companies with which they are affiliated are not sponsors of this contest or responsible for its operations. Winner announcements will be made with reasonable promptness after each monthly submission deadline. We reserve the right to amend contest rules at any time.
COPYRIGHT AND OWNERSHIP
Neither Wiki Contest LLC nor any other partner, employee or agent associated with these competitions claim any ownership in any original material submitted to us. All ownership and rights to the material submitted remain with the writer claiming authorship of the scripted material.
PUBLICITY
Submission of written materials establishes each writer's consent to The Wiki Screenplay Contest to the use of entrants’ names, likenesses, photographs, and/or personal information for promotional purposes.
REFUND POLICY
All fees submitted are non-refundable.
SUBMISSION CONDITIONS AND RELEASE
When you submit your writing to this contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Wiki Contest LLC, its subsidiary, parent and affiliated companies, judges, screenplay readers, sponsors, and any other organizations responsible for administering, advertising or promoting your submission of material, including the use of your name and likeness in any way throughout the universe and in all media against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, and to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the The Wiki Screenplay Contest and its owners, agents and employees from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities. SUBMISSION OF MATERIAL IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED or restricted by any Federal, State or Local law. Voided submission fees will be refunded.
By submitting your material and contact information to The Wiki Screenplay Contest, you grant us permission to reach out to you via email, text, social media, and postal services to inform you of our service and product offerings, as well as those of our partners, affiliates, and co-sponsors. All scores are final and purely at the discretion of the Senior Judging Panel.
Writer acknowledges that any and all written feedback and analysis commentary is objectively presented and intended to be illustrative, instructive, and helpful in guiding the writer along a professional path. Scores and comments are in accordance with current professional film and television industry standards, but writer accepts them as purely subjective pursuant to the judgment and opinion of the individual reader-analyst and agrees not to request, demand, or suggest alternate, different, or revised written feedback; no guarantees of satisfaction on the part of the writer are expressed or implied. The Wiki Screenplay Contest (WIKI) is dedicated to the inspiration, education, encouragement, and training of film and television writers. It does not represent writers in the professional marketplace, does not serve as agents, managers, or producers, does not procure or attempt to procure employment or representation for any individual, nor does it direct the development of any individual career. WIKI does not option, purchase, or exploit in any manner any written material submitted to it, nor does it arrange or negotiate the option, purchase, or exploitation of any written material. The participation of professional writers, actors, directors, or executives in webinars, workshops, services, or publications of any kind presented or published by WIKI is not to be construed as interviews, promises, auditions, or guarantees of employment of any kind.
