"The Cage"
Synopsis
Serviceman Fred Eller is introduced at an army boxing match and shows he's a natural born fighter. We find out more about his background and his courtship of Mabel Nelson, who becomes his wife and the mother of his two children. The U.S. has entered the Second World War and Fred rises in rank and is trained for a non-combat mission. After receiving his training, he travels to post-War Europe and to his assignment in Germany: to oversee one of the most notorious WWII POW camps where several German and Russian Officers are held to await trial. If found guilty of war crimes, German and Russians Officers will be sent to their respective jurisdictions and sentenced there. To Fred's surprise he soon becomes the Company Commander and the highest-ranking officer at the Cage despite his age and inexperience.

Gary DeMoss has penned four screenplays including “The Cage," based on the true story of 2nd Lieutenant, Fred Eller. “Ultimate Control” is inspired by the confidential report by Terry Easley. Ultimate Control was a Silver Remi Award Winner at the 2024 Houston Worldfest. Mr. DeMoss has also written two TV Series pilots, also award-winning properties: DEEP CREEK, a series based on MKUltra – a “Mind Control” program of the CIA. Black Moon Rising, a screenplay and companion television series. is a historical drama that profiles the Osage Indian Tribe in Oklahoma.
