Where do you live (City, State, or Country)?
I live on Long Island in NY and Teach forensics at Amityville High School.

How long did it take you to write your script...and what is your writing process? Do you outline...use index cards...white board...or just start with FADE IN?
The short script titled Afternoon took three weeks during COVID.  I wrote out notes before I started but changed the story as it developed. 

What is your ultimate ambition as a writer?
I already have three novels published, but would really like to see a script get produced. 

Was your entry at The Wiki Screenplay Contest a full script or “the first ten pages”? Why did you make that choice?
It was a short nine page  script but if it get produced, it’s open to be a feature using the short as the Inciting Incident. 

What’s your all-time favorite movie or television show...and why?
Silence of the Lambs.  There is so much more to the movie than Hanible Lector being creepy. There are so many different layers that you may not catch at first until you watch it a second or third time.

What advice do you have for writers hoping to win a contest or place as a finalist as you have?
Be as original as you can.  Use tropes to mislead then change direction, and then again.  Make all characters repeatable and not copy clichés that you see in shows and movies.  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UEo1ub_wn50 

What else are you working on that the world needs to know about?
BOZ: Bikers of Oz.  Instead of Dorthy’s house, a biker bar lands in Oz.  Think of Rick and Morty meets Sons of Anarchy in the land of Oz.  Adult Swim style anime.  The Oz Books are public domain.
