Long before it was trendy to challenge the status quo, Cary Singleton was already asking the tough questions. A natural problem-solver with a restless curiosity, she once considered law—until she realized she'd rather break new ground than lean on precedent. “Why solve problems the old way,” she says, “when the answer might be right in front of you if you just keep moving forward?”

Cary’s career has been anything but predictable. From game-changing roles at a defense contractor to working in violence prevention, journalism, and even video game development, she’s always followed her instincts and her passion for meaningful impact.

Cary’s guiding mantra? “Figure out what makes you sing. Find your voice. Your gift isn’t what others tell you it is—it’s what drives you.”
With a mission to spark long-term change and empower the next generation, Cary Singleton is living proof that doing things differently can lead to extraordinary results.

Together with her husband Will, Cary co-founded the Singleton Foundation for Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship with a bold idea: use the power of storytelling and entertainment to help people gain the money smarts—and inspiration—they aren’t getting in school. Their work is driven by a shared belief: everyone should have a shot at financial freedom, and becoming the CEO of your own life starts with the right tools.
The Foundation leads three major initiatives:
  • Million Stories Media – a digital channel packed with fun, engaging, and educational content that uses the power of entertainment and storytelling to take the fear, boredom, and discomfort out of learning how to be financially competent. Features include original documentaries, series, curated content, and inspiring entrepreneurial stories.
  • Venture Valley – a a multiplayer business-building game where you pit your strategy and savvy against friends and competitors. 
  • Slyngshot – a go-to resource hub for aspiring entrepreneurs ready to launch, powered by a proprietary AI-driven business building engine.
Cary's screenwriting comes from her own life experiences with a distinct bent toward romantic comedy that carries with it the underlying elements of reality and truth. After learning the craft at USC's Cinema Program she's now an award-winner at The Wiki!
